Sadly this is a pretty generic title so please don't confuse this with other films with the same name. This is the 2003 film directed by William Friedkin, starring Tommy Lee Jones and Benicio Del Toro. This film showcases two things. It introduces to the public the Filipino martial art of Kali and some wilderness survival tracking skills. Yes it's an action film, but because of these two topics I feel that it makes the film a unique genre, one where tactical gear enthusiasts can enjoy. This film is pretty much Japan's take on the film The Hunted. It also has a bit of The Bourne Identity, and The Raid put in too. I really like The Hunted starring Tommy Lee Jones, so I was really excited to finally watch this film. This film stars Tak Sakaguchi, I do like several of his films like Deadball, Death Trance, and Versus. The director Yuji Shimomura is famous for his action films. The ever so popular tiger's claw knife the Karambit is featured a lot in this film, the fight scenes seem to be more of the focus than even the story telling.
